A face to face Regional Meeting to review progress and strengthen midwifery program in south-east asia region organized by WHO Regional Office for South-East Asia (SEARO), was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 13th -15th September 2022. Daw Nwe Nwe Khin, president of Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council (MNMC) and Daw Khin Mar Kyi, Vice President of Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Association (MNMA), attended the meeting. Daw Nwe Nwe Khin made a presentation entitled “Accreditation Ensures High Quality Nursing and Midwifery Edification in Myanmar” on 13th September 2022. Daw Khin Mar Kyi presented a poster on Role of Professional Bodies in Leading Midwifery Strengthening in Myanmar.
