The Myanmar Nurse and Midwife Council held a one day workshop on Dissemination of Dissemination of CPD system and Re-licensure Process for Nurses and Midwives at OSC Hospital (Private). The Managing Director of OSC, U Thura Aung provided the welcome remark and Daw Thu Thu Zin Than expliained the profile of the OSC Hospital (Private). Responsible persons and nurses and midwives from OSC hospital and Central Executive Committee members of MNMC and participants attended the workshop.
Central Executive Committee (CEC) members of MNMC shared the following topics at a one-day dissemination event:
– Daw Nwe Nwe Khin (President of MNMC): Regulation of Professional Practice through CPD and Roll-out Plan
– Daw Than Than Soe (Secretary of MNMC): Orientation to CPD Logbook
– Professor Daw Hla Hla Aye (Joint Secretary of MNMC): Standard Operational Procedure Manual of CPD system
-Dr Kyawt Kyawt Swe (CEC, MNMC): The CPD Mechanism and Responsibilities of CPD Providers
– Professor Daw Khin Thein (CEC, MNMC): CPD Types, Points and CPD Fees
Daw Nwe Nwe Khin, President of MNMC replied and explained at the question and answer section.
A total of 60 participants including nurses and midwives from OSC hospital (Private) attended the workshop. Completion certificates of the Workshop were awarded to the participants. Daw Nwe Nwe Khin, President MNMC presented the Certificate of Recognition to Provider to Daw Khin Mar Win, (Chief Provider) nursing manager of OSC Hospital (Private).
